The next Drones Club will take place on Saturday 15th October 2005 at The Others, 6-8 Manor Road, London N16. 8pm until late. Admission £5.

How to get there: The Others is easy to get to by rail from Liverpool Street to Stoke Newington Station or on buses 67, 73, 76, 106 (stops right outside), 149, 243, 393 and 476.

Line up for the night will be:

*S/T (they promise a two-hour set at least!)
*Ectogram
*Burning Idiot Noise
*Raagnagrok

with DJ sets from Raïsa Veikkola, Jim Backhaus (Kosmische/Resonance FM) and Tango-Mango (Drones Club, Kosmische).

Anna - The Eye was always good like that, having the bar separate from the stage area was one of its better features. People who wanted to talk could do so without interrupting those enjoying the music. I liked that venue - many didn't, but it was charming in its own way.

(and I totally understand WHY the bar had to close so early... but it was still slightly TEH 5Uxx0R. Fortunately the bands were all great anyway).

Fantastic night in my opinion, despite the art crowd weirdness, and the bar and venue closing early - so S/T didn't get their two hour set after all. We will get them to have a full show in London again. We will.

Burning Idiot Noise were even better than I had hoped they would be on the strength of the album. Thanks M'Lud! Thanks to you I now have one of your songs stuck in y head on repeat play. Let's do it all over again soon.

A nice, enthusiastic crowd as well. We felt very at home.
