It is my birthday on the 8th of September (this Thursday) and I've decided to do something very special indeed. In the evening I will be in the Heart & Hand, where people will be joining me to...wait for it...wait for it...
Get absurdly drunk! Yes indeed, as a plan it has all the originality of an Ocean Colour Scene album, but it's a classic none the less. But that's not all! Oh no.
The next day (that's Friday. Keep up) we will be meeting in the same place (Yes, I know there are other pubs, but they don't have the 13th Floor Elevators on the jukebox, do they?) at the same time to get, yes, absurdly pissed, before going on to a late night showing of classy arctic groo-fest The Thing at the Duke of York's.
Come one, come all. I'm not promising miracles but I can promise the delicious sight of his Lordship getting as pissed as, well, a lord.
