People, let's get on this. Isam the engineer is at 29E 40N, asking for enough pieces of string to make a space elevator. I've given all I had - 23 pieces of short string. Now we only have about 400 to go.

(I know, 23 isn't that much. But it was all I had.)

I've been playing for a while as well and for the first time I DIED that damn 14000 HP Sea Lion killed me while I was distracted.

Has anyone else died?

What's it like trying to get your stuff back?

getting charity items seems tedious with having to spend 5 action points just to get 1 arrow or whatever. I've heard tale of Paladins who will fetch your body for you. Has anyone delt with any such folks?

After a few months of playing I'm really hooked... all it took was for me to realize that I can do all four initiations!

Suddenly I have 100HP, my AP renew every 10 minutes, AND I can hit things more than 50% of the time! The game's a lot more fun now!

I just made it into the middle mountains for the first time, thanks to someone sitting in the dragon pass. Look out snark, here I come!

Er, does anyone know what to do if you've been poisoned? I know that the poison won't actually kill you - just weaken you down to 1 HP. Which will let other things kill you. Healers and bandages and alcohol don't completely cure me. Is this something I'm just going to have to learn to live with? Like herpes or Presbytarianism?

You need a Dose of Antidote:

There is a 20% chance that a bat will drop it when slayed. (Bats can be found in caves). Can also be bought from Jude the Healer in Brighthelm, for 5000 gold. Drinking will cure two levels of poisoning.

Yup. It's now just added pets (everybody is trying to keep goldfish and dogbots alive). Also it's now got 1300+ types of item and over 100,000 lines of code!
