I've just recieved my barbelith login details (username and password) via email when I didn't request them. That shouldn't have happened... right?

That happened to me a couple of years back. The person doing it must know your previous login name, if you've received the email.

A different thing- someone else accidentally posted as me about meat.
While I don't really care (wedding heat seems nice, it's amusing rather than sinister) WTF?
I've PM'd them to ask how it happened, but does anyone know? I don't think it's a shared computer, as has happened with colleague Barbers before due to cookies, but it's a bit worrying a)that it happened by accident and b) that I only found out about it by accident.

The point is that you should change your login name as well as (or instead of) your password, if you haven't done so already. That way, the board won't even understand who it is they're trying to log in as and, as a result, you won't get the email reminders sent to you.

Mystery solved. Work computer keeping the cookies (frickin' cookies) so that when someone else looks at barbelith they automatically login as me. Turns out wedding heat *is* at my old job using those PCs Pappuce style.
How annoying. I hope nobody mean uses those PCs and starts trolling people in my name but there's eff all I can do about it. Poop.

Or get Wedding Heat to delete the coookies on the machine - if you can log in to Barbelith, I doubt it's that locked down. But yeah, change your password.
