That was very nice, though brief... but the real fucker is that having left the pub to go to work, when I actually get there my boss is very surprised to see me. Due to some administrative fuckup, they thought I was off sick tonight. Turns out someone else phoned in sick and whoever took the message got the name wrong. So I could have not turned up and nothing would have been said.
