Hey Hunting Lodge, Just to let you know that in the nearby neighbourhood to Belfast Road, there is going to be an extreme eviction party with bands and dj's and hippies and all manner of nonsensical unlawful behaviour. Empty house with pa's and the neighbours approval even. I imagine this will be one of the biggest "events" of the N16 summertime. Anyway, it occurs to me that you might be interested in an after show party and might even want to play there? You can pm me or probably Stoatie if you want the details.
Am probably going to be at both your gig and the party so see you somewhere!

Thank you to Rock God Seth for the one-handed neck massage, and thank you to Lilly for being all worried about me getting home and offering me a place to stay. (Actually, it took me about 40 minutes door to door from the party to home; the most terrifying thing about the journey being Emerson's suggestions of alternative uses for an electric toothbrush when he walked me to the bus-stop...)

We didn't make it to the second party in the end. Diemunchmachine music didn't finish until around four, and I had to get our bassist back for work in time for eight.

What a fucking brilliant night. The line-up was never less than excellent, the atmosphere was spot on. Hopefully we'll play there again soon.
