Shit, how does anyone actually play this game? Without ripping the piss, I mean. Am I missing something?

Dost thou truly desire the ways of the Camarilla, childe? Wouldst thou know the Daaark Kiss? Etc.?

Mordant Carnival
02:42 / 24.05.05
Not rrrreally, no. I think I'd prefer a cup of tea and some banana cake.

Ganesh
02:43 / 24.05.05
Oh.

*deflated*

Mordant Carnival
02:46 / 24.05.05
You could tell me what a Lesombra is. I mean, I don't care hugely, but it's something you know that I don't.

Mordant Carnival
02:49 / 24.05.05
And some banana cake too. With lemon icing.

Ganesh
02:49 / 24.05.05
Ahhhh, welllll...

It's, er, the vaguely Spanishy brand of night-wannndererrrr...

They can Obtenebrate really well, if that's any help.

Ganesh
02:51 / 24.05.05
I suppose they're sort of ninja vampires. Doesn't say anything about cake, though, banana or otherwise.

Mordant Carnival
02:52 / 24.05.05
They sound... wow, they sound lame. Even for an RPG character class.

I am offended and demand CAKE.

Jack Fear
02:53 / 24.05.05
Also: "Childe" is actually an honorific—it's used for those of noble birth. So it's less like "kiddo" and more like, I dunno, "Milady" or something.

Childe Mordant to the Dark Tower came...

Vaguely-Spanish Vampire Ninjas?

Jeez, Ganesh, I had no idea you were so well-versed in White Wolf lore. Do you get a lot of Kindred in your profession?

Ganesh
03:00 / 24.05.05
Mainly Tzimisce.

It's like Barbelith's greatest hits, he has the Greenland Posse's ability for vague prophesying and occasional random understanding of the English language and grammar, Knodge's tenacity, innercircle's refusal to explain anything about what he wants and instead go off into insulting people and making vague 'sheeple' references...

Let's not forget the strong whiff of Leap in the touching conviction that a simpler, rougher-hewn but more honest world can be brought into being through the power of gaming.

Jack Fear
03:06 / 24.05.05
Funny, you don't look Tzimisce...

Mordant said:"And some banana cake too. With lemon icing."

ok, this doesn't have lemon icing, but unless someone has more patience than I do for googling cakes, this'll have to do.

Shhh...She can't tell it's not Lemon icing just by looking...

Sekhmet
04:24 / 24.05.05
Banana and lemon?

I am weirded out.

Mordant Carnival
05:17 / 24.05.05
The lemon cuts the unctuous sweetness of the banana with a refreshing tangy note. Do not question me again.

Sekhmet
05:45 / 24.05.05
Definitely a Toreador.

Definitely.

Mordant Carnival
06:03 / 24.05.05

Yooouuu aarre getting sleeepy...

Mordant Carnival
06:11 / 24.05.05
Don't call me a Toreador! That's just uncalled-for, that is.

Our Lady Won't Do That Again
15:33 / 24.05.05
Wah, Sekhmet has come over all Paul McGann...

Our Lady Won't Do That Again
15:34 / 24.05.05
McKENNA, I meant, OBviously, as coming over Paul McGann would just be wrong...

"Oy Charlie? Do you know what sucks about being a McGann?"
"No, what?"
"Nothing! Bah-ha-ha-ha!"

Toreador, en garde, Toreador, Toreador!
Et songe bien, oui, songe en combattant
Qu'un oeil noir te regarde,
Et que l'amour t'attend,
Toreador, L'amour t'attend!

Our Lady Won't Do That Again

Today another story came out of China The ironic thing here is that it seems these countries going to talks want to participate in talks and the U.S. is basically doing what they did when the were about to go in with Iraq. Evidence was presented to the media to produce a scare, the country in question goes.. hey stop the fucking crazy talk...slow down, look around. We see a hole being dug, conjure evidence, get the public feeling afraid and then they get to feeling helpless and soon, more war fun.

Ganesh
20:25 / 24.05.05
It is indeed the same old story.

With added North Korean fashion preparations for war.

long hair "consumes a great deal of nutrition" and could thus rob the brain of energy...

...Tidy attire "is important in repelling the enemies' manoeuvres to infiltrate corrupt capitalist ideas and lifestyle and establishing the socialist lifestyle of the military-first era," the radio says...

..."No matter how good the clothes, if one does not wear tidy shoes, one's personality will be downgraded."

I think Nina Clamourity could be a fifth columnist for Pyongyang, judging by that last quote.
