You could also do what I do when I forget who is who: I look at the username number. Like when that poster changed his name to stoatheaded, I ran my mouse over his name, saw a four digit number starting with 5, I knew it wasn't my Stoatie.

For reference, I'm 5141. I've been here since 2005.

I'm Barbannoyed because the girl I've been kinda sorta seeing has dumped me via e-mail all of 20 minutes ago. Okay, I'm just annoyed. But the major reason she dumped me is the same mental gulf that would prevent her from "getting" Barbelith, so it's reflexively Barbannoying. Ha.

Can we PLEASE stop with the "pls" and "kthxbye" shit? Even... actually, no, ESPECIALLY when it's taking the piss.

I don't know why, but it makes me want to KILL. Which is especially annoying when I'm actually agreeing with the point the poster is making. It's like advancing a really good argument, but having a dump on it before it's handed over to the recipient.

It was funny for, like, five minutes AGES ago. Considering nobody ever does it seriously anymore, I think it's no longer needed as a joke, really.
