| Oh, I didn't find the thread annoying, and debatably, yes, I am a berk. It was kind of show and tell but also because mirror's thread reminded me of the gif image. It goes in line with my thinking on the subject, if someone says something racist call them on it immediately, or start up a casual conversation on racism and how prevalent/disgusting it is. It couldn't be construed as an answer to mirror's question however and would, indeed, have been a too light/not grave enough response to it. Thusly I posted it in the instead thread. Sometimes I see the instead thread as an abstract and vague compendium of commentary on topical Barbelith, it isn't always such, I realise, just sometimes. |
