Wow, a monogrammed machine pistol. I would say I can't see the point but I just read rustygoldhouse's incisive critique of Catholoicism, the 'A bloke jumped on the Pope' thread. Suddenly a gentleman's duelling machine pistol seems very desirable.

It's a little known fact, but in finer States across America, as long as your firearm looks really cool, it's okeh to shoot people.

But no good for dueling. That's not the pistol to shoot the other duelist in the back after you've apologised and sent them on their way home. Just bad form, then.

Uhhhhh, the whole comment was just a joke. Sorry? I was just coming from an intentionally bias, closed-ended point-of-view. Again, I'm playing Devil's Advocate. I honestly believe that there is no REAL right or wrong and every situation should be approached from all angles. So, I have to, simultaneously, say what I know (It is mysognistic) and what I feel (It's a sexy little statue). Just know that I'm not contradicting, I'm just picking away at people to get a perspective. I'm not an animal --- I promise

I'm sure people know that I'm not one to moan about "dogpiles" or whatever, but I can't help but wish that a few more people who have posted in the Classified thread who don't usually post much in Music would do so - keeping that forum's head above water is a matter of starting good threads as well as pointing out bad ones.

Flyboy - I promise that I'll be back in the R & M asap, maybe tonight. Not to talk about any specific piece of music, but to follow up on the tangent that I and Zippy/Id started - the musical meta-criticism thread proposal. Actually, I'm slightly annoyed that I haven't posted more meaty stuff lately, especially in the Lab. And my Temple participation (apart a nudge or two in the trixxter debacle) has plummeted after the Dao De Jing thread went MIA. Grrrumble. Work work work.
