Gosh, this is an interesting website, isn't it?

I'm haunted by a synchronicitolicious feeling that I've seen some of the information it contains somewhere before. Or should that be...after?

Card-carrying member of the Church of teh SG or not though, Q666, the advice up-thread about 'leaving the house' and so on might still apply. At the moment, JR 'Bob' Dobbs, with whose teachings I'd imagine lots of people on this board are already familiar, would still very much see you a pitiful 'normal,' aspiring a bit to being the ash in his pipe.

If there's one lesson I learned from JRB's works, it's this -

Q666; Have you checked out Molatar's website ? There's a link on page either 1 or 2 in Barbelith conversation, under the head of 'Eeew... Nutter' etc, or something similar. Compared to that guy, 666, you're positively 'B'n'It.'

On the other hand though, Molatar's knowledge appears to have been bought at a terrible price.

Well then be honest with us! Tell us what's wrong, why you feel like that. I'm sure you could get some good help and advice here.

Any broader reading? You've read in maybe two fields - conspiracy theory and pop counterculture, which is arguably only one field. How about a hack at Middlemarch? I'm quite serious.

Darkmatter

I have read other fields at the moment I am reading Einstein, but i am looking for revilations something powerful, something that can change things

Have you considered Bertiaux's Voudoun Gnostic Workbook? I've never read it myself, but I understand that it is very impressive - there's a thread on it somewhere around here.

Oh for heaven's sake, Haus - 'Middlemarch' is a girl's book, written about girls, and by a girl, and ultimately for girls. It contains no insights into anything whatsoever unless you're a girl, and anyone who thinks otherwise probably spends too much time hanging round with girls. I mean I read that book, all the way through, and every turning of the page was like a minor slice to Flight Of Dragons Jr, and after 8000 pages, my god, it hurt...

Oh deary me.

Quimper666 appears to be convinced that Mordant is American. And therefore apparently the spawn of Satan.

Are you from the flyover states Mordant, hmmm, hmmm, are you, are you? You better come clean RIGHT NOW. Or else. You fucking mind terrorist you.

Hi, mister Quimper.

1. In 12 hours, you've posted more than I have on Barbelith in the past two months. Congratulations! Have a fruit cake. You've earned it.

Now, if I think I spend too much time on the internet, just imagine what that says about you.

2. Read the Ramayana, then the Mahabharata, then read the Bible, then read all of the books by Nietzche, Hanh, and H.G.Wells. I don't know if you'll learn everything there is to know about humanity, but it'll give you something to do.

true. Was it the Wells thing for you, Haus, or just the density of the unformation flow? Do we have our anti-Shannon here?

You sound exactly like a magical equivalent of the guy who stands outside Top Man on Oxford Circus with a megaphone shouting "be a winner, not a sinner".

Reading Hyatt and Icke... Suddenly the picture becomes clearer. Seriously though, I do enjoy Icke's writing, if only for all the witty little asides and snide comments he constantly makes. He may be a fraud, but at least he has a sense of humor.

I imagine that quimper666 may be one of the few people on this forum who would actually "get" the VGW. Perhaps one with a schizophrenic mind can better appreciate it...

Yeah, my bad...

Seriously though, Q-triple-six, have you considered investigating any of the traditional answers to the BIG questions? I mean, the idea of questioning reality isn't new to the 21st Century, as anyone here can tell you...the whole thing has been one of those recurring human preoccupations pretty much back as far as the records (Akashic and text) go...as a short list of recommendations, some of which you've no doubt read, I'll expand on earlier posts:

the I Ching
the Tao Te Ching
the Diamond Sutra
the Bhagavad Gita (find a good translation though)
any of the Gnostic Gospels (I like Thomas)

Start there: go to the source and I think you'll find it far more enriching and refreshing than any of the popkultur regurgitations - just a suggestion.

And, ah, Bob be with you. See you on the Saucer with the Sex Goddesses.

I'd add some Rumi and Ellis's translation of the Egyptian Book of the Dead.

As an aside, I've been considering that alien contact might very well induce the singularity of human neuroculture. And you're not the first person I've heard suggest that alien contact might first occur online...

Wait a minute! Q66 I demand that you post a picture of your belly button asap! And if you've got scales and a tail, you know we're gonna find out. This is the web! You're on our turf now...
