Talking of, can we amend the title of this topic? It was intended to read Bōnen no Xamdou, but since title lines of our topics can't support special ASCII characters the result is an ugly-ass mess. Bonen no Xamdou should be sufficient.

... and if I had any more information about the series in question I would gladly post in the thread, but none is to be found. O well.

Dear policy mods, please could you come and lock up the "Moderating the Temple" thread? It's not really relevant anymore and has become a bit of an eyesore. As I posted in the thread itself:

I think at this point I'd really like to see this thread locked and sunk. It was relevant when there appeared to be some possibility of the board surviving, but now I don't think there's anything to be gained from it. All it does now is drag scratchiness into yet another forum (and create an opportunity for people with an axe to grind or an appetite for drama to have a pop at the freaks)...

Mod policy for any specific forum is pretty much a dead issue, since in the absence of proper functionality the best we can hope for anywhere is limited damage control. Specific instances of poor conduct can be addressed like poor conduct anywhere else on the board and there are general threads for this.

Just shows how few moderators are around at the moment that it's still there. Could I suggest that moderators start putting up some false requests so that maybe someone will have the chance to go into that request and either approve or delete it away? If I can see it I'm moderating Conversation, Switchboard, Books, Comics, Film & Telly and The Gathering, so it must have come from one of those.

Well, yes, you're right. There are many worthwhile things in the world.

I personally don't have more than mild interest in this movie, I'll probably see it in a few years when it's no longer a new release dvd. I just don't like spoilers, and I'm sure some others who do care about the movie don't like them, either.
Of course, this is the kind of movie you can't avoid hearing about.

I seem to have gone into OCD overload, and have just edited one of my posts in the Temple three times in a few minutes. The last time was to add a comma. I didn't know that doing so many edits made it approval-reliant, so I just put "stuff" in the REASON box like I usually do for a quick edit that mods won't have to agree on. Basically, I just added a comma. So any mods wondering what it was all about, it was to add a comma immediately prior to "doing it for the lulz".

So, I've generally tried to assume that Buk is just a bit dim, but it seems that this may no longer be the consensus viewpoint.
