You should be able to get to it by right-clicking on the pic, and looking at the properties for the location. I beleive it's a toy of a film. Best guess, the foam was part of some kind of button mechanism, was previously internal, and has now sprung out.

This is so beautiful. Finally, I feel a slight end of the year festivities tingle in my heart. First the Cthulhu Christmas CDs, now this huggable hugger, improving faces only a mother would love all around the world. Giger would approve.
