See, if I tried explaining this to my mother, I’d be getting a pair of scissors and a roll of sticky tape for Christmas.
Yes, it’s a big picture (maan), but nothing a couple of regular copies and some Sellotape won’t reveal, hmm? Ooh, think how much better you’ll feel about things, getting your scissors out and interacting with your comics, properly assisting in the construction of *the* image that finishes the series for you, rather than just getting a nasty pre-made copy and having to keep it safe from sticky fingers for the rest of your life. That’s not very magickkkk.
You know, I actually rather like the poster idea. I’m all for comics-which-aren’t-just-comics. I just don’t fancy the ultra-limited superduper edition-ness of it. It’s not cool, man. |
