Hello chaps. Even though I've been working 20 metres away Ariadne for two weeks, I've had sod all chance to say more than 'hello'. Who's up for an Edinburgher meet? It would be nice to hear Loomis be excited about his new PC and to take Amethyst up on his Salvia offer (and let him know I have used my car only about twice in the past month). What say you all?

Sounds like a plan. So, the Auld Hoose it is (that's not me being quaint, btw, that's the name). 7.30 Tomorrow.
This link should get you a map. It's on St Leonard's Street. If youre coming by train, the easiest way to get there is to get a bus on North Bridge (80p). AFAIK, all the buses go to Clerk Street, which is roughly where you need to get off, somewhere close to Tesco Metro. Take any of the streets or back alleys east to St Leonards and wander about until you find it. If you think you might have problems PM me tomorrow and I'll give you my mobile number.

Actually, I'll probably be there from 6:30 as I work near there, and live far enough away to make a trip home unfeasable. Damn space-time.

Ok, it'll be either my Simon Armitage green Chopper T shirt or a slightly less green X-Large "monkey in a spacesuit" shirt (possibly even with hammer and banana badge). Either way, I have hair that isn't too far off a koala's and I wear thin glasses. Ariadne is the efficient businesswoman and Loomis the annoyingly attractive antipodean. Amethyst, I have just remembered, looks like my brother. Not that this helps you.
If the bar staff that I know are in, I shall ask them to direct lost looking people to our table. Depending on how things turn out I may also be bringing my friend Jack who looks and sounds like Brian Blessed.

That was a top night. Great to meet Tom Tit Tot and Nobody's Girl, and to learn what lurks in the woods of America ... And an excellent pub choice by Bush Loses Cube. And we caught a glimpse of Brian Blessed just as we were leaving, so all boxes ticked for a good night out.

Painting with a hangover the next day was a bit tricky however. At least until the 2 afternoon pints, which suddenly made the whole process much more fun. Need to go back there today to see if it's not all over the place.
