Cap'n Stoatie is on his way back from Germany, probably on the high seas as we speak, sailing with a fair wind from Hamburg to Blighty. Stoatie's signed on as first mate to Lightning Rod, the most devilish worker of magic lanterns ever to hoist sail and set out to roam the seven seas. He's expected to drop anchor tomorrow sometime, corsairs and ferryboat permitting.
We opened ITLAPD05 in fine style in Germany, following a rousing piratey percussion workout, swigging grog, puffing cheroots and cursing until the early hours, with a sturdy fire banked up for all the crew to share scuttlebut and tales of treasure and derring-do. Ahrgggggah! |
