Gaaaaaaah. This damn thing TRIPLE POSTED!

This was supposed to be more of a thread about the Peter Blake films + Q&A, with the Indie films as an afterthought, but, ooh, look which one is more popular. Huh.

Okay, well, I am going. Probably. If not horrendously hungover. I'll get online again later in the week with an idea of a neat place to meet beforehand, maybe.

I've heard from anna, who is unlikely to be online this weekend, that she will be at the prince charles at 12.20pm if people are up for indie jones type action.

Be fair, dearest. Perhaps if the Peter Blake films had been *mentioned*...that is, if the topic abstract had not been:

Indiana Jones triple-bill. The Prince Charles Cinema, London. Sunday 5th September. Who's up for it?

And the post:

Sunday 5 September:

ALL THREE INDIANA JONES MOVIES!

then we might have had more of a chance to surprise and delight, eh? I was a bit confused by "Prince Charles Art", but assumed you meant that the Indiana Jones films *were* art...

Afraid I was away at the Hopper exhibit at the Modern. Did anyone make it? What's it like to see all three in a row on the big screen? Did they let you read a book during Temple of Doom?

This was supposed to be more of a thread about the Peter Blake films + Q&A

Wasn't this the thread for the Peter Blake thing?

I made it. It rocked. It was therapeutic. And Denholm Elliot is God.
But the sound was shit.

Yes, Haus and Suave, you are both right about the other thread; my point was that the post got posted (twice) due to accidentally hitting a tab-return before I'd finished writing it. The other double-post got deleted because I spotted it in time, and this one got left behind as I wasn't aware of it, and later it was edited (but not the subject-header).

Phew. That was a pretty longwinded and pointless explanation.

Anyway, seeing all three of them (with long enough break between each to get food and booze) on a big screen with surround sound was great fun and even worth missing the gorgeous weather for.
