Blurt and Hunting Lodge at the Railway in Winchester, Saturday 7th August

Allo there.

Yesterday I learned two important things. Well, probably more than that, but these really stood out:

1. We've booked Blurt to headline our gig at the Railway in Winchester. They're pretty much legendary. It should be an absolutely fucking amazing show.

So. Who fancies making a weekend of it? Come to see us on Friday, crash over in Southampton (there'll be space at mine) and go your respective ways on Sunday.

You'll know Blurt, so to sell Hunting Lodge: at the Bristol gig last night we were described by King Alexander's bassist as the best band he'd ever seen. And then someone else called us the biggest pile of shit he'd ever seen. We don't tend to attract a middle ground. We sound like The Birthday Party, Liars and Jesus Lizard, if they were hamsters that a VET put in a bag and slammed into a wall.

Rizla, you need to be at this gig.

..well I was going to mention the fact that I've got to get up on the Monday and be completely together for the starting of a new job, but FUCK IT, if I used that as an excuse for not jumping on the train to see a kick ass gig in a sunny cathedral city and chew the fat with cool people.. I'd be forced to strangle myself with the nearest audio cable.
