First run changes to voting screens...

Moderators will notice first run changes to the moderation process that splits it from the private messages and when you have voted on one action you are taken directly to the next. There is much clunkiness still involved, which I will work on over the next couple of days. I'll improve a bit of its functioning here and there as well and talk to Cal about any and all changes that need to be made. Still - it'll work when we get there...

Yes, I like that too. More carrots, less sticks!

Hmm. I'm generally against screens that just tell you what has happened, although I should say to all of you that you do a tremendous job and that you're very very much loved! I might have to find another way to give moderators some positive reinforcement. Buy you all a drink or something. Or massage your feet!

I like the changes and streamlining on the whole. The only thing I don't like - and I don't want to make a big thing of this - is the congratulatory message. In the same way that I would eventually want to throttle a succession of people who told me to "Have a nice day!!! ", I can already feel myself becoming irritated with that message.

I'm just saying.

I'm completely with you on that, and am going to endeavour to get it removed as soon as possible.

Or massage your feet!

I like tom more all the time.

I'd be happy with "Good for one foot massage" as a response message. It'd be a lie, but oh how I'd want to believe.

How about a randomly selected coupon that you can print out and redee, at the next barbemeet?

What would be useful is to have the thread title on the voting screen, as at the moment you have to click the reference link just to find out which thread the action's taking place in.

Okay that should be eminently manageable.
