Some of you may not realise this, but the Barbelith (London) Short Notice Post-Work Drink is something of an institution.

So, anyone up for it? Time: 6.30ish? I will have to bail around 9 in order to watch the season finale of Six Feet Under. Venue: possibly the Plough, but we'd have to occupt it early and be willing to defend ourselves against men in Hellblazer t-shirts. If anyone wants to make an alternative suggestion, I'm flexible as long as it's not the Chandos, the Crown, the Marquis, the John Snow or antwhere else I take an irrational dislike to.

If I lived in London I'd be there in a flash, but I suppose I'll see y'all at the next megameet/major meat/Barbemoot whatchamacallit. Someone should arrange it soon, Xmas is coming... (when I say 'someone' I'm spelling that F-L-Y-B-O-Y or T-R-Y-P-H-E-N-A, obviously)

I shall enter the Plough at precisely half past 6 this evening in the company of Flyboy. We shall hopefully sit down. We shall await your arrival(s) or perhaps see you at that exact point in time. We shall stay for around two and a half hours at which point we shall exit the building.

Plough will be fine as long as I can find Waterloo or Victoria which shouldn't be an issue.

Your all totally Gay, but it was cool - got stuck on the train on my first night out away from central London but then my journey home was excellent - my way home is always fun when I go out on a Barbemeet....
