Yeah, we did. My fault for not expressing how annoying and stupid I felt it was at the time, I suppose, but I'd hoped it was going to be one of those things that ends up sinking after a short period of popularity (and, to be fair, it wasn't anything like as bad as it's become when it first started, being slightly more tongue-in-cheek than entirely serious). That's not happened, and every single time that it's bumped back up to the top it pisses me off that little bit more.
I'd always figured that 'snide' meant a comment that had some sort of wit about it. My mistake again. I guess it should have been obvious from the standard of some of the posts that I'd got that wrong. Hur hur, you suck your own cock, you do. And so on. But I do want to point out one thing that was supposed to happen in this thread and plainly hasn't been for, ooh, the vast majority of it: Don't tell us where they're from, and remove any tell-tale details. Instead, every fucker and hir dog can make a pretty good guess at who the targets of a lot of the shit in here are, which makes it even more of a great, pus-filled zit on the board's face.
