800 to go!

Come on, those of us still going have to make it for the ones who have collapsed!

Congratulations for finishing!

About 9481 words left for me to go, so it's going to be really close as to whether I finish or not.

I got stuck at 23K...

But I've got some great stuff out of it, and it has been really rewarding as an experience, and it's the taking part that counts isn't it? Isn't it? DAMN.

Well done to everyone who's seen it through to the end!

About 6460 words left to go for me now. I am going to finish. I am going to finish.

Done!

Done done done!

I'll be posting the last part on my website WSaturday, and it needs a LOT of editing, but it's done!

55K, so I didn't need the 60K I'd budgeted for the story.

My main character has turned into a table.

I've learnt that writing a novel in the first person makes it hard to shoehorn random things into the storyline when you really don't give a toss *what* happens to him any more - which is a disadvantage.

I'll know better next time.

Yay Rose! Yay Squirmelia! And the people who even attempted this foolhardy endeavors get 'yays' as well.

I'm regretting not doing it this year... My chances of doing 50k in four and a half hours seem low.

Anyone still messing about with their Nanowrimos? I was thinking about starting up again...

I think I might never look at mine again. I might contemplate looking at my 2002 attempt though, since my memory of it has faded a bit, and I think there are bits that might be salvageable. Did you do Nanoedmo last month?
