So I gather that people are using HTML tags to get all the cool effects with their text. Is that right or is it some other voodoo?

Do you know, a friend of mine always puts an apostrophe in Hmmmmmm.

Why is that? To represent one of the Ms that is missing?

H'mmmmmmmm...

I'm confused ..... well, nothing new there then.

Where is the ignore button? What is this html thing? I'm not a programmer or techy type person. Please help!

To ignore somebody click on their name in the far left column. You'll be taken to their profile and there is a choice to ignore said person for a week.

Stoatie. Stoatie? STOATIE.
13:34 / 27.03.02
Ummm. I don't wish to sound computer-illiterate or anything (but I am, so that's the way it comes out), but- html? what is this html of which you speak? And left column where? (Not that I was ever really into ignoring anyone, but IF I DID decide to, how would I go about doing it? Please ignore me if I'm being too stupid- I think I'm actually Catweazle's long-lost son). I'm sure I'll pick it up.)

It stands for Hyper Text Markup Language - its what all this stuffs written in - if you go to View at the top of your window and then click source you'll see what it looks like...

We should get the FAQ out (of) here so that people can see what is availble to them.

Basically you don't need to know a lot. Rather than do to start bold and to end it, you instead type in <b> at the beginning and </b> at the end.
