So is this the issue where all the mutants die?

But what does the BWS cover look like?
And how do I get one?

I imagine the BWS cover would be easy to find, I saw loads of the BWS cover for the last issue of Uncanny.

I like the Quitely cover, I want that one.

Did anyone catch the interview where Morrison talked about the two new characters, one of which is a fat trailer trash teenage girl who sleeps around and gets pregnant while on the team? Or the Chinese guy named Xorn (THe Man From Room X) who has had his brain replaced by a microscopic baby sun (!?!?)

Sounds really promising...

No.

I know there's a guy called 'the man from room x' who's going to feature in the team; I've heard about this new 'Angel'(?) too, but I don't know any of the details.

Where the bloody bugger did you find this interview?

Well, I didn't read it myself as it came out in a Brit magazine that I've never seen here. I can't be helpful enough to remember the name either...there was discussion about it on the Warren Ellis Forum, that's how I know about it.

That's as much as I know about Xorn, save for that he apparently was in some sort of internment camp for the majority of his life. What I can add about the trailer trash girl Angel is that she has bug wings and can do various fly-related things, she's generally quite repugnant. And that the story she debuts in is about a clan of humans who hunt mutants for their mutated body parts, which they graft onto their own bodies so they can "be" mutants.

Can someone begin to even speculate as to what the hell a microscopic sun in place of a human brain could POSSIBLY entail? So he has no brain? Is he utterly mindless? How could a microscopic sun replace a brain? Wouldn't it have a gravitational pull? Weird stuff.

Actually I already knew about Angel's powers etc. Just forgot. Silly me.

The Sun for a brain thing? Sounds like Morrison swiped the idea from Jeff Noon's 'Pixel Juice' (there's a short story in there about a boy with a mini moon residing in him).

I love the idea of Sun as brain, however. I just knew he'd manage to get the weird alchemical symbolism in somewhere.

Shame the New X Men special introducing Xorn has such terrible artwork.

We've already had a living sentient sun from GM in the JLA; so Sun-for-a-brain would be something like that but smaller and in a skull; that would probably be an adamantium skull as this is an X book.

I think the medium can accept this sort of things.

You're all going on about, "Yeah, woo! I love the New X Men!", but none of you have taken a look at the groovy new image.

That's because you're all cocks.

And I posted it on the wrong thread.
