The Revolution Will Not Be Webcast
A group project.
So I've been listening a lot to Gil Scott-Heron's fabulous "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" (full lyrics <a href="http://www.gilscottheron.com/lyrevol.html">here</a>), and it strikes me that it's very much... of its time, let's say. A time capsule of a certain time and a certain place.
Thought it'd be fun to do a piss-take / pastiche / update / homage, keeping the same funny / apocalyptic tone and cadence and shoehorning in as many ridiculous in-jokes and flash-in-the-pan internet culture references as possible.
Your contributions in the same vein are most welcome.
