What is the Peace Mango?

The Peace Mango is a magickal transducer, whose job it is to take "negative" energies (greed, anger, destruction) and convert them into "positive" energies (altruism, happiness, and constructive engagement).

In the walk-up to the invasion of Afghanistan, this became one of Barbelith's largest group workings, which included the release of a pretty good pop song. You can probably hear it on this site (http://www.peacemango.com/), if you'd like.

The name "Peace Mango" came from the sigil embodying this piece of magickal circuitry, a green-and-orange circular design with a green, stem-like arrow directing energy outwards. It looked like a fruit, it was designed to create peace, and there you have it. As discussion and work continued, the sigil seemed to gain enough energy and personality that it began behaving like a servitor.
