The Temple
From Barbelith
The Temple is for "Faith, magic and mysticism, bodywork, and applied psychology" -- pretty self-explanatory. Ritual, religion, martial arts and mysticism -- from Christianity to chaos magick, from Aleister Crowley to Phil Hine, revelations, requests for metaphysical assistance, servitor breeding tips -- all that goes in here.
Discussions of world religions and various reality-engineering techniques (hypnosis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, psychotherapy, etc.) also seem to do well in the Temple -- as long as they're more hands-on. Theoretical discussions about the role of nothingness in Zen Buddhism would probably do better in The Head Shop, while a more analytical discussion about transcranial magnetic therapy triggering visionary mental states might be more suited to The Laboratory.
There's a wonderful thread explaining how all this works and what all this means here, called "Temple Forum Users - Explain Yourselves!" (http://www.barbelith.com/topic/22742).
