What we know about Misty:

• She was invisible to everyone except Zatanna during their superhero therapy session.

• She may or may not be based on the titular character of the Misty Comic for Girls (http://www.toonhound.com/misty.htm).

• She may or may not be based on confessed Zatanna fan Paul Dini's wife, Misty (as mentioned in Zatanna 1).

• She's got a look about her that's not unlike the Witchbreed in Klarion. She might be related.

Chad - I also think Misty is a Witch-Girl, in the ethnic sense —as opposed to the habitual. 

Ganesh - Wondered also about Misty being a Witch-Girl (presumably having concealed her blue
skin or summat), or possibly Half-Witch. Knowing George's fondness for incestuous-if-they-knew-
it siblings, she could turn out to be Klarion's half-sister. How long since his father left
for Blue Rafters?

She's revealed in Zatanna 4 to be a Sheeda in exile, and we're told that the Witchbreed were descended from Sheeda-human pairings in the past, so it might just be that Sheeda phenotype showing through. (See Limbo Town for more.)

• Gloriana Tenebrae is her stepmother, so Mister Melmoth might be her father - which would make her half-sister to the Witchbreed.

• Shining Knight's name, Ystin, is practically Misty spelled backwards.

• Her Roman numeral die looks an awful lot like the Foundation Stone of Manhattan in Guardian 2, now in Klarion's possession, doesn't it?
