JLA:Classified

JLA: Classified is a DC Comics (http://www.dccomics.com/) superhero anthology with rotating art teams. The title refers to JLA: Classified files, presumably with an intent to move slightly off the beaten track using these icons, the Justice League of America.

The title was launched in 2004 by the team of Grant Morrison and Ed McGuinness with the storyline "Island of the Mighty". They are to be directly succeeded the JLI team J.M. DeMatteis and Keith Giffen, with Kevin Maguire. Rumours abound of both Peter Milligan and Rob Haynes' lost 'Kid Amazo' story and Gail Simone making appearances at later points.

The Grant Morrison/Ed McGuinness run can be read as a prologue to the Seven Soldiers crossover epic.
